- 'Sent from Migadu' signature on every mail you sent at bottom.
We will guide you through the process of setting up your email hosting here.
To setup Migadu all you need is access to your DNS manager of your domain. We need to add some DNS records in order to get our email working.
We will add 5 DNS records in total and setup our new free email on our own domain.
Login to your DNS manager, whatever you are using. I am using cloudflare here.
Head to Migadu's site and register a free account from here. You will need to verify your email and then login into the account.

After logging in click on 'Add Email Domain' button. Now enter your domain that you want to setup email with.
You will be asked to add some DNS records. We will help you with that. All the records you need to add are there on your account copy and paste them.
1. Adding MX records for Migadu
The two MX records are same for all.Priority MX serverSelect Type as MX, type @ on Name and put 10 on priority. You can leave the ttl to auto.
10 aspmx1.migadu.com
10 aspmx1.migadu.com
2. Adding SPF & DKIM records for Migadu (TXT records)
These record values are specific for each domains, so make sure you copy paste these from your own account.
For SPF,
Select type as TXT, put @ on Name and copy the content value & paste.
For DKIM,
Select type as TXT, copy the Name and content value & paste given on your account.
3. Adding DMARC record for Migadu (TXT record)
This is the last record we need to add and this one optional but recommend to add for various security reasons.
Add this record as the SPF record, type as TXT and the Name/value should be copy pasted.
Finally your DNS records should look like this now.
Now, it will take some for Migadu to detect the changes we have made to our DNS records, as DNS propagation takes time. After some time, usually above 30mins, Migadu will automatically detect the records and activate your account.
You should log into your account like every 15 minutes and check if our domain is on Migadu. After the records are detected you will get something like this.
We will now need to setup our mailbox, default is [email protected] but we will have to set a new password.
Go to your domain on your Migadu account and click on Mailboxes, from there you will be able to add new mailboxes and setup new password for your mail.
At last lets log into our new mailbox. Go to Migadu Webmail Login page and enter your new mail and password.
And congrats !!! You have successfully configured your free Email Hosting On Migadu.
